Ratings: Major Crimes Rises; Takes Top Spot in Total Gains in Live + 7

Monday night’s episode of Major Crimes rose in the ratings as viewers tuned in to watch the team hunt down an armed madman. The outing brought in 3.66 total viewers, and finishing as the second-most watched cable program of the night. The episode dipped slightly in the key demos from last week’s season high, to the season average of 0.45 million viewers 18-49.

In time-delayed viewing, Flynn and Provenza-themed episode 504 “Skin Deep” finished it’s run on a Major high, rising to 6.75 million total viewers in Live + 7 day viewing, a rise of 75% over Live + Same day, and the biggest total gain in L+7 for the week. In key demographics, the episode doubled its impact, rising from 0.5 to 1.0 million viewers in L+7.

Overall, Major Crimes is continuing to strongly outperform the rest of TNT’s summer slate, including recently renewed The Last Ship (2.0/0.5) and Animal Kingdom (1.23/0.4), and Murder in the First (1.31/0.2)

  1. Why always 18-49? Ridiculous. I have never missed an episode since it began. I am older than that, but I have money and I actually buy things.
