Major Crimes Cast Celebrates TNT’s 25th Birthday


TNT’s celebrated its 25th Anniversary last night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, and much of the Major Crimes cast was in attendance. The cast shared photos on Twitter and Instagram, and press was there as well documenting the star-studded night!

Major Crimes star Mary McDonnell reunited with her former Battlestar Galactica castmates at Galacticon III in Houston, TX this past weekend,  where she posed for photos and signed autographs to benefit Moore Tornado Relief, Sinte Gleska University and Everett Stage School.

- In a new interview with MostlyMary.com, Mary McDonnell talks about Major Crimes, how Sharon Raydor has influenced her politics, as well as her new presence on social media, including an upcoming Reddit IAmA (“Ask Me Anything”) on June 2nd at 4pm EST.

- The LA Times is reporting that despite his role on the upcoming TNT drama King and Maxwell,Jon Tenney is expected to continue to return as FBI Agent Fritz Howard in Season 2 of Major Crimes. Tenney is also slated to direct during the season.

- As a lead up to the season premiere on June 10th, TNT will be re-airing the latter part of Season One of Major Crimes, starting with “The Shame Game” on June 4th, “Dismissed with Prejudice” on June 5th, “Cheaters Never Prosper” on June 6th, and “Long Shot” on June 7th, all at 12am/11pm central.

Major Crimes became to the first ever TV series to be honored by the Los Angeles Police Reserve Foundation for “commitment to the LAPD and the community” this past weekend at their Twice a Citizen Awards Banquet”. From their press release: “The Reserve Foundation is pleased to recognize the cast members on their authentic and compelling performances, and for their longstanding individual commitment to community and philanthropic projects; along with the production team for their realistic and judicious presentation of LAPD officers and Command Staff.”

Congrats to the cast and crew of Major Crimes for this prestigious honor!

Meet Tony Dension and GW Bailey and Enter For a Chance to Visit the Set of Major Crimes!

Major Crimes stars GW Bailey and Tony Denison will be on hand this weekend at an event at Garden of Hope and Courage in Naples, FL on November 11th, 2012.

According to the event website, Denison and Bailey are “joining forces with the Naples Police Department for a family filled afternoon of Texas Tony’s Barbeque, fingerprinting and DNA testing, real crime scene vehicles, photo opportunities and so much more to benefit the Sunshine Kids Foundation and the Garden of Hope and Courage.”

In addition, raffle tickets will be sold at the event for a trip for two to Los Angeles and a visit to the set of “Major Crimes” to watch the live filming of an episode and have lunch with G.W. Bailey and the cast.
