Jon Tenney Returns to Major Crimes

Fritz Howard is returning to Major Crimes.

TVLine is reporting that Jon Tenney will be returning to direct episode 15 of the second season of Major Crimes, and will also be returning to the show in front of the camera for episode 16.

Both episodes are set to air in December. Major Crimes returns from hiatus on November 25th.

Major Crimes Renewed for Season 3!

The long wait is over- TNT has renewed Major Crimes for season 3!

Via press release: “TNT’s Major Crimes will return for a third season. The hit crime-drama, which currently ranks as one of basic cable’s Top 5 series, is drawing more than 6.7 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery. The show is also one of basic cable’s Top 10 summer dramas among adults 25-54 (2.1 million). Currently airing Mondays at 9 p.m. (ET/PT), Major Crimes is set to wrap up its summer run Aug. 19. It will return in November for the second half of the season. TNT has ordered 15 episodes for season three, which is slated to begin in summer 2014.”

Elsewhere it was also noted Major Crimes will return on Monday, November 25th with the final 8 episodes of season 2.

Ratings Notes- Major Crimes Wins Night with Another Ratings High

- For the 3rd consecutive week Major Crimes won the night as the most watched scripted basic cable show! The episode featuring a bevy of classic TV veterans became the second most-watched episode of the season, coming at 5.120 million total viewers and 0.7 million 18-49 in Live + Same Day ratings. - Last weeks episode of Major Crimes has risen to more than 6.5 million viewers in Live + 3 day ratings, including 2.0 million adults 25-54 and 1.5 million adults 18-49, helping it to come in as the second most watched scripted cable program of the week. (Source: TNT Press Release)

- Episode 206 of Major Crimes has continued to grow its audience, coming in with 6.9 million viewers and 2.0 million adults 25-54 in Live + 7, an increase of almost 2% over the prior week in total viewers.

With two more episodes left for the summer run of episodes, fingers crossed we get some good news about Season Three soon!
