Last night’s episode of Major Crimes saw Flynn & Provenza trying to find the perfect new house for Flynn (with a side of murdered realtor). The comedic-themed episode brought in 3.92 million total viewers, down just slightly from the season high of the last new episode two weeks ago.

In key demographics, the episode brought in 0.5 million viewers 18-49, just slightly off the season high of 0.52.

In time delayed ratings, Major Crimes continues to prove itself as one of summers strongest performers.

Episode 502 finished its run on a high note in Live + 7 day delivery, gaining 72% over its live viewership in Live + 3 day, for a total of 6.283 viewers. The gain was the 2nd largest of the week, only behind HBO’s Game of Thrones. In 18-49, the episode also doubled it’s delivery to a total of 1.0 million viewers 18-49.

Meanwhile, episode 503 saw massive gains in both total viewers and key demos in LIve + 3 day, and is on track to hit a new season high in time-delay ratings, having already risen to 6.23 million total viewers. The episode finished as the 2nd most watched cable program of the week in both live and time-delayed viewers, just behind lead-in Rizzoli & Isles. Likewise, episode also rose sharply in the key demographics, doubling to 1.0 million viewers 18-49 in Live + 3 day delivery.

Overall, Major Crimes continues to out perform the rest of TNT’s summer slate, including the latest episodes of Murder in the First (1.34/ 0.3), The Last Ship (2.5/ 0.6) and the recently-renewed Animal Kingdom (1.39/ 0.5).
