Ratings: Major Crimes Hits Another New Season High; Ends 2013 as Top Ten Cable Series

217-buzz flynn tao lrMajor Crimes rang out 2013 on a major high, smashing its previous winter ratings record. “Year-End Blowout” added almost a million viewers to last week’s season high to come in at 5.217 million in Live + Same Day viewers- an increase of more than 16% over the previous week. In addition, the ratings for the 18-49 demographic also saw an increase of 14%, rising to 0.8. Source: TVbytheNumbers

With two episodes left in the second season, Major Crimes also finished the year on top, coming in as the 7th Most-Watched Original Cable Series of 2013 with an average of 6.9 million viewers in Live + 7 day ratings, one of only two TNT series to make the list. Source: Nielsen
