On the eve before Christmas Eve, Santa delivered excellent ratings to the Major Crimes team as Monday’s outing of Major Crimes bested last weeks winter season high, coming in with 4.48 million viewers in Live + Same Day ratings. “Risk Assessment” also won as the night as the most-watched cable scripted series. Last week’s episode of Major Crimes hit a new winter high with 5.9 million viewers in Live + 3 day ratings, increasing over the previous weeks outing by a whopping 9%, and winning the week as basic cable’s #1 original series. In the key demographics the numbers remained steady, drawing 1.8 million adults 25-54 and 1.4 million adults 18-49 in Live + 3 day. Source: TNT Press Release
With only one more week left in the year, Major Crimes is set to finish as one of basic cable’s Top 10 original series of 2013.
