Ratings Notes- Major Crimes Wins Night; Premiere Audience Grows to 6.9 Million



MAJOR CRIMES- Last nights episode of Major Crimes garnered 4.729 Live + Same Day viewers (a 4% increase over last weeks Live+SD numbers) and was the highest rated scripted cable show of the night. (source: TVbytheNumbers.com)

- The June 10 season premiere of Major Crimes has grown to an audience of more than 6.9 million viewers in Live + 7 day ratings, including 2.2 million adults 25-54 and 1.8 million adults 18-49, making it the second highest scripted cable drama premiere of the year. (Source: TNT Press Release)

- Episode 3 of Major Crimes has risen to 6 million viewers in Live + 3 day ratings, a 12% increase over the prior week, and also garnered 1.9 million adults 25-54 and 1.5 million adults 18-49 (a 26% and 23% increase over the prior week, respectively.) Is it too early for us to be asking for TNT to go ahead and renew Major Crimes for Season 3? With numbers like these, we don’t think so!
