Ratings for Major Crimes continued to hold relatively steady this week against the double-whammy of Monday Night Football and the return of the regular Fall TV Season on the broadcast networks.

Coming in with a 4.302 rating for the live 9pm airing, Major Crimes scored another win as the #1 scripted cable show of the night. In addition, last weeks episode, “Out of Bounds” kept it’s strong showing against Monday Night Football to reclaim Major Crimes’ spot as the Top Scripted Drama of the Week for the 4th time since it’s debut, according to TVByTheNumbers.com

Finally, a TNT PR Press Release today noted that Major Crimes, along with The Closer and Rizzoli and Isles together made up the Top 3 Cable Series of the quarter.

The numbers are strong, and all signs appear to point towards renewal. Now if we could just get the official word from the network, we could all breathe a little easier.
