Ratings Notes- Major Crimes Wins Night, Gains in Total Viewers and Key Demos


2.10- raydor tao lrThe penultimate Major Crimes of the summer season gathered another huge ratings win, topping the night as the highest rated scripted cable offering, and coming in with 5.310 million total viewers (a 4% increase over the previous week) as well as getting a strong bump in the 18-49 demo with 0.9 (an increase of almost 20% vs’ the previous week!)  (Source: TVbytheNumbers)

- Last weeks episode of Major Crimes ranked as one of basic cable’s top three programs for the week with total viewers, and also had significant gains over the prior week. So far the episode, which featured a bevy of classic TV guest-stars has grown to 6.9 million viewers in Live + 3 day ratings, an increase in viewers of 5% over the prior week. Ratings Notes- Major Crimes Wins Night with Another Ratings High


2.09-provenza lr- For the 3rd consecutive week Major Crimes won the night as the most watched scripted basic cable show! The episode featuring a bevy of classic TV veterans became the second most-watched episode of the season, coming at 5.120 million total viewers and 0.7 million 18-49 in Live + Same Day ratings. - Last weeks episode of Major Crimes has risen to more than 6.5 million viewers in Live + 3 day ratings, including 2.0 million adults 25-54 and 1.5 million adults 18-49, helping it to come in as the second most watched scripted cable program of the week. (Source: TNT Press Release)

- Episode 206 of Major Crimes has continued to grow its audience, coming in with 6.9 million viewers and 2.0 million adults 25-54 in Live + 7, an increase of almost 2% over the prior week in total viewers.

With two more episodes left for the summer run of episodes, fingers crossed we get some good news about Season Three soon!

208 lr- Episode 208 of Major Crimes once again won the night as the most-watched basic cable program, retaining last weeks season high in the 18-25 demographic at 0.9, and coming in with 4.99 million total viewers in Live + Same Day. (Source: TVbytheNumbers)

-Thus far for the summer season, Major Crimes is among the Top 2 in Most Watched Basic Cable Summer Series and Scripted Dramas for total viewers, and is the Top 3 of Basic Cable’s Top 10 summer dramas with adults 25-54.

- Last weeks episode of Major Crimes came as the second most-watched scripted program of the week, getting only narrowly beaten out of the top spot by fellow TNT series Rizzoli & Isles. In addition, the episode placed among basic cable’s Top 10 telecasts (including scripted, reality and sports) for the month. The episode has thus far garnered 7.1 million viewers in Live + Same Day viewers (an 8% increase over the prior week),  including 2.1 million adults 25-54 (an increase of 11%) and 1.5 million adults 18-49 (+10%). 2.07-raydor lr-Last night’s episode of Major Crimes bested its season high from last week, adding more than 300,000 watchers to come in at 5.38 million in Live + Same Day viewers- an almost 6% increase over last weeks record high! - Last weeks most-watched episode of season 2 has has grown to a whopping 6.6 million viewers in Live + 3 day ratings (a 4% increase over the prior week) and 1.9 million viewers in adults 25-54 (also increasing 4% over the prior week). - Episode 204 of Major Crimes further grew its audience, finishing with 6.9 million viewers and 2.2 million adults 25-54 in Live + 7 day ratings, an increase of 8% over the Live + 7 numbers for episode 204.

- Last weeks episode has also grown to 6.3 million viewers in Live + 3 viewers, including 2.2 million adults 25-54 (+9% vs. prior week) and 1.6 million adults 18-49 (+13% vs. prior week). - The June 10 season premiere of Major Crimes has grown to an audience of more than 6.9 million viewers in Live + 7 day ratings, including 2.2 million adults 25-54 and 1.8 million adults 18-49, making it the second highest scripted cable drama premiere of the year. (Source: TNT Press Release)

- Episode 3 of Major Crimes has risen to 6 million viewers in Live + 3 day ratings, a 12% increase over the prior week, and also garnered 1.9 million adults 25-54 and 1.5 million adults 18-49 (a 26% and 23% increase over the prior week, respectively.) Despite being up against the hockey finals, last nights episode of Major Crimes scored 4.54 million Live+ Same Day viewers and a 0.8 rating in the 1-49 demographic, with a gain of over 650,000 total viewers from week two!
