I really enjoyed this podcast. It really helps to understand Sharon so much better when learning Mary’s perspective on this character.
One thing though, I thought the host needed improvement in facilitating the podcast. And the host voice has an irritating quality to it. Although it was wonderful to hear Mary the host detracted from that enjoyment somewhat. Maybe try someone different.
Also would love it if we could get some other cast members on the Podcast to get their characters perspectives on Sharon.
Hello! I really liked this podcast and the show. I love Sharon and it is wonderfull to see nowadays all this strong female characters on TV. My questions are: What kind of scene would you like to do this season? and is there something you don´t like about Sharon?

Interesting pod cast although I thought in Sn 2 that Sharon stated she intended to go to Law School but never did. Was surprised to hear Mary say she dropped out. Question: How does Sharon feel about still being a Captain given her time in service both in the LAPD as a whole and as head of Major Crimes. Has she given up on the possibility or will she be promoted at some point?

2) Could you please clarify Gus’s comment in Present Tense (ep 5×01) about Sharon having a lot of “overnight company” vs. Andy’s comment about Shandy moving so slowly they’ve almost come to a “dead stop”? #confusedshipper

My question for Mary: Last week you said that Sharon is not easily intimate with people. What’s the level of intimacy between her and Andy, and what is it in him makes Sharon open up to him?
Hi! First off, thanks for this awesome podcast! The way you include your fans never ceases to amaze me!
My Qs are:
1) Is there anything you can tell us about this power struggle or shift Sharon will be dealing with that James Duff mentioned?
2) We got some Shandy time in 5×01, but since so much seems to happen off-screen, there’s a lot we can only wonder about… For example, did Andy get to take off Sharon’s glasses yet?
How far are they really in their relationship, emotionally or physically?
I loved hearing about going to school in England and the living conditions. I also had a frig on the windowsill of my dorm room. Back in the early 70′s you went off to college with a hot plate, alarm clock and a record player.
I also appreciate the explanation of why this Shandy relationship is going so slowly. I’ll try to be more patient as that storyline progresses.
One question I gave is want is the process of making an episode of MC? How much time does it take for each episode.

Hi! Thank you so much for doing the podcast! Really appreciate the effort and time you and Mary dedicate to make the fans happy! As for questions, I have a couple:
1. Mary could you tell us how you see Sharon spending her days off from work? Like what do you think she likes to do? Read books? Go to galleries? Does she like to cook? We haven’t seen Sharon yet just being ‘Sharon’ the regular woman and not as ‘Captain’, so would be awesome to know how she likes to unwind when she’s off of work.
2. On the cut scene on the DVD (S04E12 “Blackout”), when Jack was about to leave the court and he was on his way to the elevator, he mentioned something like he thought, (and I guess implied that their kids had the same idea) that Sharon will choose or pick someone better this time, and not an alcoholic or has history with it. He was obviously talking about Andy as they discussed him. My question is, what do you think made Sharon decide to pursue the relationship with Andy? Was there a turning point or a moment when something clicked and she just knew that Andy’s not going to be like Jack at all even though they (Jack and Andy) sort of share the same ‘demon’?
3. Last question is, would you mind clarifying the status of Shandy’s relationship this season, without spoilers, of course. It just got a little confusing when Andy said the phrase ‘dead stop’ in regard to them taking their relationship slow, and then around mid episode, Gus said that Sharon’s been having overnight guest a lot. Would love to hear your thoughts as to why Andy thinks they’re going completely slow? Do you think Sharon still has trust or intimacy issues because of her past?
