Major Crimes Heads to Phoenix Comicon with Mary McDonnell and Stacey K. Black!

After the success of the first-ever Major Crimes panel at Dragon*Con, we are thrilled to announce that Stacey K. Black will be joining Mary McDonnell at Phoenix Comicon on May 31, 2015 for a Major Crimes Panel and Q&A!
Stacey K, Black has directed several fan-favorite episodes of Major Crimes, as well as working as the Major Crimes Department Head Hair Stylist. She also directed the weekly season 2 video blogs which featured the cast and crew answering fan questions, and wrote the popular “Living the Dream” blogs which appeared weekly on the TNT website for several years during the run of The Closer and Major Crimes. A fan-favorite herself, Black can be found on twitter @staceykblack.
Mary McDonnell will be appearing as a featured guest Phoenix Comicon May 30-31, 2015. The Major Crimes panel will take place on Sunday, May 31st at 12pm in North Ballroom 231. For more information about the event and to purchase tickets, check out their website.

Major Crimes Season Four Gets Premiere Date

MajorCrimesTV.net has learned that Major Crimes season four will premiere on Monday, June 8th at 9pm/8c on TNT.
Start the countdown and set those DVR’s, because the team is back!

Major Crimes focuses on how the American justice system approaches the art of the deal as law enforcement officers and prosecutors work together to score a conviction. The elite team is back, headed by two-time Oscar® nominee Mary McDonnell as Los Angeles Police Captain Sharon Raydor, G.W. Bailey as Lieutenant Provenza, Tony Denison as Lieutenant Andy Flynn, Michael Paul Chan as Lieutenant Mike Tao, Raymond Cruz as Detective Julio Sanchez, Kearran Giovanni as Detective Amy Sykes, Phillip P. Keene as tech expert Buzz Watson, Robert Gossett as Assistant Chief Russell Taylor and Jonathan Del Arco as Dr. Morales. Graham Patrick Martin returns as Rusty Beck, the homeless teen who was officially adopted by Captain Raydor last season.
In 2014, Major Crimes ranked as one of basic cable’s Top 10 series for the third consecutive year. Ratings- Major Crimes Finishes Season Strong Against Football; Wins Night and Week

On a night where many broadcast programs posted series lows against the College Football Playoffs, the Major Crimes two-hour season finale held its own in the ratings, finishing the season even with their winter average, and wining the night as the Most Watched Scripted Cable Program. ”Special Master, Pt. 1″ saw 3.73 million viewers tuning in for the much anticipated return of Phillip Stroh, while hour two saw excellent viewer retention, with 3.5 million viewers sticking around for ”Special Master, Pt. 2″.
Last weeks episode of Major Crimes continued to perform well in time-delayed ratings, coming in as the Most Watched Show across all of cable (including sports and reality) for the week, and beating out sister TNT series The Librarians by more than a million viewers. In Live + 3 day ratings, last week’s outing rose to 7.6 million viewers (+3% over the prior weeks winter best).
Overall in its third season, Major Crimes is reaching a total of 9.4 million viewers per episode across multiple platforms.
Major Crimes will return for season 4 with all-new episodes Summer, 2015.

Ratings – Major Crimes Wins Night & Week in First Outing of 2015

Up against stiff competition from the return of network programming, Major Crimes performed well in its first outing of 2015, winning the night as the Most Watched Cable Program of the night. The episode, featuring the long-awaited showdown between Julio Sanchez and his temper (and Captain Raydor with her former Internal Affairs team) dropped slightly, with 4.311 viewers tuning in. In the key demographic, the episode remained steady, with 0.7 million viewers 18-49 tuning in.
Last weeks episode also brought some Major gains, winning the week as the Most Watched Scripted Cable Program, beating the runner up program (and sister TNT series) The Librarians by almost 1 million viewers!
Congrats to the Major Crimes team for making a big splash into 2015!

Phillip Stroh (guest star Billy Burke) returns and is demanding a new deal from DDA Rios (guest star Nadine Velazquez) in exchange for his cooperation regarding “future murders.” In a race against the clock to prevent the deaths of three women, Major Crimes works to save the victims while decoding the source of Stroh’s information.
